The concept of remotely downloading a movie to a compatible device at home via a mobile phone is certainly an attractive one. It allows for an immediacy of consumption, for example a user could decide to purchase or rent a movie having heard about it in a social setting away from home and, by the time he or she returned, it would be ready to view on his or her TV, PC, and so forth. This would also save a user time since movies can often take an hour or longer to download.
