My response was two-fold: First, I think it's a straw man set-up, because exploitation implies that the exploited are somehow under coercion, and that's not the case in any crowdsourcing model I've encountered. Vietnamese children work in sweatshops because it's the only game in town. No one's forcing people to contribute to Flickr, Youtube or Digg.
