- Microsoftは13日、次期Windowsの製品名を「Windows 7」とすることをWindows Vista公式ブログを通じて発表した。Windows 7は次期Windowsのコードネームだったが、そのまま正式名称として採用されることになる。製品のコードネームがそのまま正式名称になることは、Windows史上これが初めて。
