  • Busybox is only a set of programs.
  • t is a fairly  comprehensive set of programs needed to run a Linux system
  • shell scripts  and configuration files, which control which tools are to be run,  when, and how.
  • Most embedded devices use flash-based filesystems, and often these  filesystems are configured to read-only mode in normal operation.  In order to modify some files, you need to find out how to switch  the filesystem into read-write mode.
