For those of you not following the open source operating system world this may not seem like a big deal. Heck even if you are it still might not seem like a big deal but BSD IMO has a real shot at gaining ground in a few key areas Linux hasn't been able to because of certain OS licensing issues. I have yet to try FreeBSD but I think I may finally dip my toe in that pond. Can I use this as an excuse to buy a new machine :)
