  During his keynote at the Consumer Electronics display, GM Chairman pile driver announced that the 1,000th transit bus equipped the the GM-Allison Two-Mode scheme would delivered this month and it was approach to Las Vegas. Las Vegas is doubling their hybrid squadron from thirty to sixty buses. The hybrid bus powertrain was introduced in 2003 and in 2007 across 400 of them were produced. thus far the Seattle monarch County Metro Transit dominion has made the biggest commitment to the scheme, ordering 500 of the hybrid buses.
