  • This is what a typical bookmarklet  looks like.  This bookmarklet will search the UNCG catalog for  the selected terms or keywords entered.

    • The underlined section   is the portion you would replace with your library catalog or other   search engine URL. 
     
    • ‘query=’ is   the part of the URL telling the catalog what keywords are being searched   for.
     
    • +escape(Qr) represents   the words the user selects or types in the popup box.  The escape(Qr)   can be in any part of the URL.
