The iPad 2 is available with 16GB of built in storage, on the iPad 3 you get a choice of storage options and it is available with either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of built in storage, the iPad 2 comes with 512MB of RAM and the iPad 3 comes with 1GB of RAM.
Both tablets come in a choice of WiFi only and WiFi and Cellular options, the iPad 2 is available with WiFi and 3G whilst the new iPad 3 is available with WiFi and the faster 4G LTE cellular connection, the iPad 2 comes with Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and the iPad 3 features Bluetooth 4.0.
The iPad 2 with WiFi retail for $399 and the WiFi and 3G version retails for $529, where as the iPad 3 starts at $499 for the WiFi only version and $629 for the WiFi and 4G version, all of these models are available with 16GB of built in storage.
The iPad 3 is also available with 32GB of built in storage, the WiFi only 32GB iPad 3 retails for $599 and the WiFi and 4G LTE model retails for $729, there is also a 64GB model which retails for $699 with WiFi only and $829 with WiFi and 4G.
